Transcendental meditation meaning: bringing forth the mind’s true nature and deepest qualities to saturate the mind, creating a state of ease, joy, comfort and bliss.

I personally found the name Transcendental Meditation to be offputting for many years and never tried it on that basis. I’ve since looked into it, and I find it worthwhile. I appreciate the simplicity. It seems to have proven itself out. However, the organization is overpricing. It seems unfair to poor people.

Maharishi claims that the practice introduces the conscious to the subconscious. This allows the conscious mind to more readily access the subconscious wisdom. Melding the two allows for ‘Pure Being’ ‘Universal Consciousness,’ or ‘absolute reality of our existence.’

Transcendental Meditation (TM) is a specific meditation technique known for its simplicity and potential to cultivate inner peace and well-being. Here’s a breakdown of its meaning:

  • Transcendental: This refers to going beyond the ordinary or usual experience of thought. In TM, you aim to transcend the constant chatter in your mind and reach a deeper state of awareness.
